We are still not allowing them in the novice and beginer groups. Although we might make an exception on a case by case basis depending on car, driver, and attitude. Seems the money is just not there. Funny thing last year my local mustang club actually drove that track. Unfortunately I was out of town and could not attend. The most surprising part is that the track was opened and a club allowed to drive with no supervising body in place. From what I was told from those who were there, one person representing the track opened the facility and drivers were allowed to run as fast as they wanted. Everyone seemed to get their fill, and in about an hour they left as a group. WOW !! Not saying I would not have taken a few laps myself if I were there but would make me nervous that no one was available in case of a mishap. Will keep my fingers crossed about Bluegrass for the future. I have been to Nashville and was a part of the Car Show with the Nashville Mustang club. Really like that format to have the track event with the show and shine. Did not get to run the racing format as they were already full.
